Applications are invited for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Assistant Professor (Consolidated Salary)

Posts and Pay Scale :

1. Professor - PB-4 (37000-67000) with grade pay of 10500/-
2. Associate Professor - PB-4 (37000-67000) with grade pay of 9500/-
3. Assistant Professor - PB-3 (with starting basic pay of Rs. 30000) with grade pay of 8000/-
4. Assistant Professor (Consolidated Salary) - Consolidated Salary Rs. 40,000.00 per month

Qualifications : Minimum Qualifications : Ph.D. with 60% (there will be 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent in post graduation/graduation in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. An outstanding professional, working in Industry with established reputation and having made significant contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D degree, could also be considered in exceptional case.

Experience :
Professor : A minimum of 10 years of experience in Teaching/ Industry/ Research at appropriate level of which at least 03 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent and should have good research publications. Experience of supervising research is essential.
Associate Professor : A minimum of 8 years of experience in Teaching/ Industry/ Research at appropriate level of which at least 03 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent and should have good research publications. Experience of supervising research is desirable.
Assistant Professor : Minimum 03 years of teaching / research / industrial experience.
Assistant Professor (CS) : This is not a regular cadre of the Institute. Ph.D. without adequate experience are eligible for the post of Assistant Professor (CS).

At least two reference letters from persons well acquainted with candidate's work are essential for consideration of candidature. Candidates have to ensure that reference letters as above reach the Institute well before the date of interview for consideration of their application.
