Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), Rs. 10300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 3600/-

Age Limit : Between 18 and 42 years as on 30-04-2011. Age relaxation as per the rules of Punjab Government.
Qualifications : Only those candidates who have passed Punjabi subject in Matriculation or above or shall pass passed Punjabi equivalent to Matric Standard within one year of appointment need apply.
Educational qualification must be from a recognized University/ Board.
Fee : Application Fee Rs. 250/- for General Category and Rs. 125/- for Scheduled Caste Candidate in the Name of Sate Project Director, RMSA in Saving Account No. 65076743127 [Application Fee Account] with any branches of STATE BANK OF PATIALA across Punjab or Chandigarh.
How to Apply : The candidates have to apply only on-line on web-site www.cdacmohali.in from upto 30.04.2011 up to 5:00 PM. and generate his/her application number. Once his/her application number is generated, he/she should get the print of the form, paste recent photograph on it and get it attested from a notary or a Gazetted officer. This allotted registration number slip will be used as identification slip at the time of written test, interview and also counseling, if called for. Candidates need not send any application/Documents by Post.

MODE OF SELECTION :
1. There will be written tests for all the posts.
2. The selection will be strictly on merit basis. The merit will be prepared as under:-
I. Trained Graduate Teachers: - Percentage obtained in Graduation and written test.
II. Principal: - Percentage obtained in Post Graduation, and written test and the interview.
III. Physical Education Teacher: - Percentage obtained in the prescribed essential qualification and written test.
IV. Drawing Teacher: - Percentage obtained in the prescribed essential qualifications and written test.
V. Librarian: - Percentage obtained in B.Lib or average of percentage of Graduation and D.Lib & written test
VI. In case of candidates possessing Higher Qualification, they will be awarded additional marks for such qualifications as under:-
(M.A/M.Sc./ M.Com/M.Ed/PhD Max. 08 Marks
i. 1st Division 08 Marks
ii. 2nd Division 06 Marks
iii. 3rd Division 04 Marks
EXPERIENCE :
Experience for Principal, TGTs and other posts will carry weightage as follows:-
One mark for each completed year. No credit will be given to less than six months experience. Only that experience will be counted which is from a Govt. School, Govt. Aided School, Govt .Recognized School and the schools affiliated with Punjab School Education Board or C.B.S.E.and I.C.S.E. Experience will be counted after acquisition of requisite essential qualifications and from the date of affiliation of the school. The experience certificate should be countersigned by the concerned District Education Officers/Competent Authority / University
