The National Institute of Biologicals, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India is a premier scientific organization and a centre of excellence to ensure quality of vaccines and biologicals in the country. The Institute is looking for a competent, dedicated and dynamic person for the post of Director as per details below:

Posts : Director

Pay Scale : Revised Pay Band: Rs.67000-79000 (HAG) (with annual increment @ 3%) plus NPA, as applicable, for Medical personnel.

Age Limit : Preferably below 52 Years.

Qualifications :
Medical: Essential :(i)PG Medical degree in the field of Microbiology/Bacteriology/ Serology/ Virology/ Hematology or allied biologicals sciences. OR (ii) Ph.D in any of the above related fields.
Non-medical: Essential: (i) M.Sc in Microbiology/Bacteriology/Physiology/Bio-Chemistry or allied biological sciences, (ii) Ph.D in any of the above related fields.
Experience: (i) 20 years standing in the profession (ii) Experience in research, training, manufacturing and quality control of biologicals viz. vaccines, blood products and other biological products for at least 15 years. (iii) Extensive administrative experience.
