Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is a Scientific Society of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India.

C-DAC invites applications for the following post :

Posts and Pay Scale :
Sr. Staff Scientist - 45, PB-3 15600 - 39100, Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-
Sr.Staff Scientist (Teaching) - 05, PB-3 15600 - 39100, Grade Pay Rs. 6600/-

Age Limit : 33 Years as on 21.03.2011 (Relaxation as per Govt. of India Instructions)

Qualifications and Experience :

  • First Class BE / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication / Control & Instrumentation / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / IT, with relevant post qualification experience of 3 years OR 
  • First Class MCA with relevant post qualification experience of 3 years OR
  • First Class ME / M Tech in Electronics & Communication / Control & Instrumentation / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Electronics / Computer Science / IT/ Biomedical Electronics with specialization in Image Processing / Signal Processing / Biomedical Engineering with relevant post qualification experience of 1 year.

How to Apply : 
  • Application should be submitted ONLINE.
  • Receipt of hardcopy along with proof of age, qualification and experience is mandatory for considering the application.
  • Candidates are required to submit a non-refundable processing fee of Rs.200/- by demand draft drawn in favour of C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram (SC/ST candidates exempted). DD drawn after 21.03.2011 i.e. last date for online application, will not be accepted.
  • Applications of candidates claiming SC / ST / OBC (Non Creamy Layer) status will be considered for relaxation, only if the duly attested copy of Caste / Non Creamy Layer Certificate is produced.
